Wow! I just realized that I hadn’t posted to this blog the whole month of March. What can I say? I stink at blogging, but March was a bit of a blur! Family shoots to finish up from rain delays, baby showers, the birth of sweet baby Jackson (more on that later, or if you follow me on Facebook you already know the scoop! If you don’t follow me on facebook, you should!), and I celebrated 17 years of marriage to my wonderful hubby with a dinner in France.
Besides all of that…I was whisked away to Italy for a sweet, sweet photo shoot. I know right?! Who gets flown to Italy for a shoot? ME!
I was picked up at the airport by the most wonderful couple, Cody and Julie. They were expecting their first little babe and we tried all sorts of ways to get them to Germany, and then realized that the best thing to do was for me to just fly down there! I was a little nervous because we were cutting it a little close, but I just kept reminding myself that if anything I could be there for some newborn pictures!

Cody and Julie were the most wonderful hosts! I camped out in their guest room and it was divine! We got up the next morning and had breakfast and they took me to a little outdoor market, only my most favorite way to spend the morning! Then we had a quick stop at a bakery for some yummy treats! Back to their house and spent a few hours playing with a little studio set up that I brought with me. AWESOME! Super fun shots that I’ll share later. Then packed it up for a few outdoor shots at some locations that I spied while on the way to the market, and a couple of parks that were special to them.
SO MUCH FUN! These two were so cute and just let me do whatever I wanted! There are so many shots that were just wonderful so I put them in the blog a little different so that you could see a handful of my favorites.

I just couldn’t get over the joy and the love between these two! I know that you can see it too! Just so beautiful and full of life!
Cody and Julie, Thanks so much for letting me be a part of this wonderful time! Julie you are just gorgeous and the love that you have for Cody and this little babe just radiates out of every pour of your body! And Cody, you are just amazing and I know that you would do anything for those two sweet blessings you have. I really feel privileged to have meet you both!
P.S. Thanks for the WONDERFUL Italian goodie box! I’ve been rationing them so that I can have a little everyday! The chocolate cups are still my favorites! And I’m serious when I say, “I”ll be back!” so just get ready! (wink!)
**updated: Lil’ babe Jameson was born on the 25h of March. He’s beautiful, and I hope to get my hands on him so that I can show him off to all of you on the blog soon!**
